It’s almost 50 years since I started my business empty-handed, totally out of money to start my business but at the same time I was full of energy and passion for starting my own business, in that hunger of starting my business, I left my existing job of Rs.400 a month.
One day, I sat with my father and informed him that I want to start my own business. He replied about how we are going to start it. That was the time when I realized that I am not alone and My father is with me.
This instantly gave me confidence that yes, we could do it.
I talked to a few of my friends and have them on board, then I started going to chambers of commerce to copy the addresses of the companies on my notebook whose working with Pakistan in those days.
When I have enough addresses of the companies, I again sat with my father and told him that now we need money to send the samples to the companies he said I have savings I will give them to you, he gave me his full savings of 7k with full confidence on me, but I was fully burdened that my father has given me everything that he had because I knew the condition of our house.
But I started sending samples to the companies for 1 year without any success, but almost after a year and a half, I received an order from Angola for aprons that’s how I started.
